FINANCIAL REGULATIONS AND TUITION FEE

I. Interview and examination fee

– This fee is not refundable, and only applied to the students who are not currently studying at Newton or are attending at other level-equivalent schools.

– For students who do not pass the first interview, one of the two following options can be chosen:

+ 50% of interview fee is refunded. If parents have the need to re-interview later, they will have to pay the fee as the first time.

+ Students are interviewed one more time at no charge.

 

II. Reservation Fee

– Parents only pay when they agree with the rules for Parents, with the reflection process and other regulations and rules shown in this handbook. The reservation fee will be deducted from the must-paid amounts when students pay the prescribed fees.

– The reservation fee will not be refunded when the student does not attend the school for any reason.

 

III. Supporting fund for school development

– This fee is paid annually for the purposes of building schools, purchasing additional equipment for teaching process, maintaining network systems of software and websites, maintaining camera systems, and so forth.

– Payment deadline: before 15 July every year

 

IV. Uniform fee

– This fee is tentative and will be fully accounted at the end of the school year, according to the exact number of uniforms such as summer and winter sport clothing, short or long-sleeve shirts, vest and so forth which are registered by students during the school year.

– Payment deadline: before 15 July every year

V. Textbooks

– This fee is tentative and will be fully accounted at the end of the school year, according to the exact number of books of Oxford Phonic, Show and Tell, I Can Read, MML Science, and so forth which are registered by students during the school year.

– Payment deadline: before 15 July every year

– This is a tentative fee and will be fully accounted at the end of the school year, according to the exact number of medical check-ups, student ID cards, youth union fees, exam papers, copies of certain documents, medical insurance, excursions,… the students participate in/receive over the course of the school year.

VII. Tuition fee

1. Tuition is fixed over the course of each level of studies (elementary-secondary-high school). Once a student graduates from a level, tuition will update itself to that of the next one.

2. Payment deadline
– 1st semester: Before 15 July every year, if payment is delayed until after 15/07, an interest charge of 1% per month will be added.
– 2nd semester: Before 15 December every year, if if payment is delayed until after 15/12, an interest charge of 1% per month will be added.

3. For grade 9 and 12:
– Students will start the school year in July; July tuition will be calculated based on the Semi-International Program fees and no promotional discount may be applied.

 

VIII. Breakfast, afternoon snack, semi-boarding fee

1. If a student is absent for at least 3 consecutive days with documentation from the parents and the homeroom teacher’s confirmation, meal fees may be refunded.

2. Adjustment according to pricing every 3 months (if applicable)

3. Breakfast:

– Only applies to elementary school students. Secondary and high school students are responsible for their own breakfast. Breakfast may be purchased at the school cafeteria.

– If a student is absent for at least 3 consecutive days with documentation from the parents and the homeroom teacher’s confirmation, meal fees may be refunded.

– To cancel a student’s breakfast subscription, parents need to file a cancellation application to the student’s homeroom teacher.

4. Lunch, afternoon snack: includes 1 lunch and 1 afternoon snack

5. Semi-boarding: Students take midday nap at school

6. Boarding: Applicable only to students from grade 2 and up, students are supervised and provided with activities outside of class time.

– Fees: 7.500.000 vnd/month, include:

+ Residential facilities

+ Breakfast, dinner from Monday to Friday

+ Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday and Sunday (meal fees may be refunded on days students go home)

+ Residential hall supervisors, evening tutors

+ Kitchen and laundry staff

+ Electricity, water, and other fees

7. Payment deadline

– 1st semester: Before 15 July every year, if payment is delayed until after 15 July, an interest of 1% per month will be added.

– 2nd semester: Before 15 December every year, if payment is delayed until after 15 December, an interest of 1% per month will be added.

 

XI. Bus service

1. Adjustment according to pricing every 3 months (if applicable)

2. Due date:

– The First Semester: before 15 July annually, If payment is not made by the due date, 1%/month will be added to the bill.

– The Second Semester: before 15 December annually, If payment is not made by the due date, 1%/month will be added to the bill.

 

X. Forms of payment

1. Cash

– 1st Office: Accounting Department – The First floor – Isaac Newton – 234 Alley – Hoang Quoc Viet Street.

– 2nd Office: Accounting Department – The First floor – Isaac Newton Grammar school – 136 Ho Tung Mau.

* Note:

– Each of our transaction has a confirmation card.

– Parents are responsible for preserving and keeping the confirmation card to check with our accountants if there is a financial problem.

2. Money transfer

– Note The content must be full of the following information:

+ Full name of the student.

+ Date of birth.

+ Class

+ Which schools does the student enroll in?

+ Tuition fee, club fee….

+ Which school year do you want to pay?

– Once we receive money, we will send a confirmation email within 7 days of the transaction.

– After 7 days from the money transfer, if you are not received a confirmation email, please you can contact us to request feedback.

– After 14 days from the money transfer, if you are not received a confirmation email without any complaints, we do not take the responsibility for the money transferred.

-Parents are responsible for preserving and keeping the confirmation card to check with our accountants if there is a financial problem.
